For more than 70 years, Mittelhof e.V. has been one of the largest sponsors of education, care and culture in the south-west of Berlin, as well as of civic engagement, self-help and voluntary work.
With more than 400 employees and 300 volunteers at more than 30 locations, we are committed to humane coexistence in our city. For young and old from near and far. We support and enrich citizens in all phases of their lives with a wide range of services from competent hands. With us you can create free spaces and assume social responsibility. Our strength lies in the variety of possibilities.

Objectives
The Mittelhof is an open and lively place for the diverse concerns and needs of citizens of all generations and cultures. We offer space for encounters, education, support and culture, promote dialogue in a spirit of partnership and form the basis for cooperative, networking and mediating action in Berlin's southwest.
Our goals and tasks orient and change with social conditions.
Our focus is on:
- The promotion of voluntary work and civic engagement
- The support of self-help and personal initiative
- The promotion of intergenerational encounters
- Help in emergencies
- The provision of resources (rooms, technology, knowledge)
