Funding
MISEREOR is financed by donations as well as public and church budgets.
Objectives
The development projects of the 2-Euro-Action should change the future of children and young people in the long term, in accordance with the principles of partnership and sustainability.
We would like to attract new donors on whose help the children and young people can rely. It gives us and the partner organisations the security of being able to plan projects for the long term.
MISEREOR projects are managed and developed by local partner organisations. It is people in South Africa, Argentina or India who stand by the poorest of the poor and work for a just world.
Projects are intensively monitored. The correct use of the donations is closely monitored. Together with the partners, projects are evaluated and the achievement of the objectives is checked. The focus is always on the people.
Together with many 2-euro donors, we support children and young people in taking their future into their own hands and standing up for their rights. We are currently helping for example in Rwanda, India, South Africa, Chad and Argentina
We support our partners not only financially in their work on site, but also exert influence on politics and society together with many other actors. Topics such as climate change, raw materials, financial markets and international trade are dealt with from the perspective of the poor.
