About the volunteering opportunity
Malteser Lübeck is looking for people who would like to get involved in helping the homeless with the cold bus. If homeless people are found by the police or emergency services, usually late in the evening or at night, they need to be brought to warm accommodation as quickly as possible. The cold bus is requested via the fire department's rescue coordination center.

Transportation and accompaniment to the homeless shelters

Dealing with homeless people is not always easy - our clients are sometimes drunk, sometimes lack physical hygiene. Behind them are often very kind people
