About the volunteering opportunity
Berlin Lingua Hub is a dynamic initiative dedicated to promoting German language learning and cultural exchange in Berlin. Our main goal is to support the integration of migrants by offering regular language cafés where people from different backgrounds come together to practise German, learn about new cultures and make valuable friendships.
Your Tasks
We are looking for committed native German speakers who would like to lead our language cafés as volunteer moderators. Your main task will be to moderate the conversations, create a friendly atmosphere and support the participants in learning German.
How can you help?
Our B1 to C2 language café takes place every Wednesday and lasts about 2 hours. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to attend regularly on Wednesdays to ensure a consistent and supportive environment for our participants. 2 are expected per event/day.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Very good knowledge of German: Native speakers or migrants with a very good knowledge of German.
Commitment: High motivation and willingness to participate regularly in our language cafés.
Friendliness and openness: A welcoming and supportive attitude towards the participants.
No special experience required: No prior knowledge or special skills are necessary as all materials are provided.

Our language cafés take place twice a week and last 2 hours each time. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to attend regularly on Wednesdays to ensure a consistent and supportive environment for our participants. Each event/day is scheduled for 2 to 3 hours.
