About the volunteering opportunity

We are looking for committed helpers for an exciting project in the workshop room of the youth organization Visioneers. The aim is to improve the acoustics of the room and at the same time create a visually appealing atmosphere. To do this, we would like to install acoustic wood panels on the walls. These should not only optimize the sound in the room, but also enhance the overall look and create a warm, inviting environment.

The project offers a great opportunity to use craftsmanship while helping to improve an important space for workshops and activities

Your Tasks

for the implementation of the acoustic wood panels in the workshop room, the volunteers could take on the following tasks:
Planning and measuring:

  • Measuring the wall surface to determine the exact positioning of the panels.
  • Creating an installation pattern or design (if desired) for the visual design.
Installation of the acoustic wood panels:

  • Preparation of the wall (cleaning, possibly priming or other preparatory work).
  • Attach the panels using suitable fixing methods (adhesive, screws, etc.).
  • Ensure that the panels are correctly aligned and optimally fulfill the acoustic function.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
The candidates should have manual dexterity, experience in handling tools, precision in measuring and assembly and a feel for aesthetics and acoustics. The ability to work in a team and reliability are also important.
