About the volunteering opportunity
We are a voluntary working group of 10 to 15 men and women who have been meeting every second month of the year since 1992 to plan new activities together. At our meetings we plan creative, meaningful, funny, profound and sociable events through which we can support Kindernothilfe's projects.

Since 2015, our work has mainly supported a project with self-help groups in Ethiopia. As part of this project, 15 to 20 women meet every week to support each other. Starting with 2 cents per week, they save money together in order to grant microloans to each other. This enables them to build up their own livelihoods. The women are empowered to provide for their families themselves so that their children can also receive food and medical care and go to school.
In addition, we also use our donations where they are urgently needed, e.g. when children's lives are threatened by a massive drought and famine, as in the case of Ethiopia.

Your Tasks
We need help selling homemade handicrafts at the Kunst&Licht Fest. You can organize your time freely and of course stroll around the market yourself. Even with only 1 hour of your time you would help us a lot. Your task would be to sell our handicrafts to interested parties at the specified prices. You are never alone, but the stall is always manned by another experienced person from our working group.

What to bring
The stall and the handicrafts and handmade items are all already on site. All you need to bring is yourself, a good mood and maybe some food for yourself.
