WHO are we?

#ichbinhier is a Facebook group in which people have been organizing since 2016 to use digital civil courage and activism to take action against hate and hate speech on social media.

WHAT do we do?

We write our own factual comments under Facebook articles and show solidarity with those affected instead of engaging in hate comments and giving them reach. 💬💻

WHY are we taking action?

#ichbinhier wants to create a counterweight to hateful and anti-democratic comments and positively influence comment columns. We want to make it clear to people that hate is not an opinion and encourage them to think. 💭

🕐 WHEN and HOW can you take part? Participation in #ichbinhier is completely flexible! There are no fixed working hours - you can get involved when it suits you. Whether in the morning, in the evening or in between: Every action counts. Our solidarity campaigns and discussions take place regularly, but you decide for yourself when and how you get involved. Your commitment is valuable, no matter how often or how long you are active.
