The ichbinhier e.V. originated from the Facebook action group #ichbinhier. We are the legal form that builds and offers awareness-raising and educational work based on the experiences of the group members' daily counter-speech work. We give talks, advise companies, other associations, political institutions and many more on the topic of hate speech online. We also offer practical training for counter-speech in our boot camps.

Are you fed up with hate and hate speech on social media? Then join the Facebook action group #ichbinhero now! Together with around 40,000 other members, we are actively campaigning for a positive and respectful online debate culture. All you need is a Facebook profile and the motivation to make the internet a better place with your contribution!
👥 WHO are we? #ichbinhier is a community that has been fighting against hate speech and fake news on social media with digital moral courage since 2016. Our aim is to improve online communication and show solidarity with people (groups) affected by hate.
🌈 WHAT do we stand for? We stand for diversity, freedom of expression, respect and the protection of human rights. Everyone, regardless of origin, gender or ideology, is welcome to join us and become active.

💬 WHAT are we doing? Instead of giving space to hate comments, we write factual and respectful posts under Facebook posts that attract hate and agitation in order to promote a positive discussion culture. We also regularly organize solidarity campaigns with people affected by hate, where we place positive messages to show solidarity.
💡 WHAT do we offer you? Support from like-minded people, learning materials and action strategies to strengthen your digital activism. You will receive practical tips and can take part in interactive workshops to deepen your knowledge. Network with other activists, share experiences and find inspiration in our community.
🕐 WHEN and HOW can you take part? Participation in #ichbinhier is completely flexible! There are no fixed working hours - you can get involved when it suits you. Whether in the morning, in the evening or in between: Every action counts. Our solidarity campaigns and discussions take place regularly, but you decide for yourself when and how you get involved. Your commitment is valuable, no matter how often or how long you are active.
🤔 WHY should you get involved? Hate is not an opinion. Together we create a counterbalance and show that respectful coexistence is possible online. Join in and show that love is louder than hate!
