About the volunteering opportunity
The nationwide mentoring program "Balu und Du" supports primary school children outside of school. Young, committed people volunteer to take on an individual mentorship for a child for at least one year. Through personal attention and active leisure activities, they help them to develop in our society and learn how to successfully master the challenges of everyday life.

After successful participation, you will receive a certificate of volunteering. you will also be reimbursed €30 per month for expenses - so it costs you nothing to take part.

Your Tasks
You meet once a week for one to three hours with a primary school child from Frankfurt. You will be supported by the project coordinator in regular group exchanges and one-to-one meetings.
Through active leisure activities, you will support the child's personal development and build a relationship. Through your commitment, you will help to positively influence the children's lives and offer them new perspectives.

For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.

On weekdays, on weekends, during the day
They meet once a week for one to three hours with a primary school child. At the same time, there is an accompanying seminar and occasional events (introductory party, graduation party) at the weekend.
Important notice
The project costs you nothing. You will be given €30 per month to organize the meetings so that all costs for you and the child can be covered.
