About USE Union Sozialer Einrichtungen gGmbH
USE is part of UNIONHILFSWERK, a network of corporate foundations, associations, eight non-profit companies and a charitable foundation, and has developed into one of the largest social organizations in Berlin. USE has been active for disabled and disadvantaged people since 1995 and supports them in finding their way into the world of work. Over 1,000 people with disabilities are employed in USE's workshops for disabled people at six locations and more than 20 branch offices. USE thus creates an important bridge for (re)entering the world of work.
A Social Day at The Imaginary Manufactory in Oranienstraße offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into a workshop for people with disabilities, change perspectives and discover new meanings for inclusive work. Participants in the Social Day experience first-hand the impressive achievements that people with disabilities make every day and learn about the different phases of production.
