About the volunteering opportunity
🌍 We are looking for dedicated Software Engineers to prepare our Fellows for their first job interviews and associated tech challenges with employers from Germany.
Your Tasks
💡 You prepare your mentees for their job interviews in a 1:1 coaching chat and share all the tips and tricks from your own experience. You work with talents from Afghanistan, Syria, Ukraine, Pakistan, and other places. You can improve lives with us.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
Ideal would be if you have good experience as a Software engineer yourself and have been working in this field for a while. You should also enjoy motivating and supporting others 💪.
Very good English skills are necessary.
Time required
📆 You can schedule your coaching slots yourself and in a very flexible way. The meetings with your mentees take place remotely. Most of our mentors coach 1-2 hours a week.

Where?
Imagine Foundation

We imagine a new world.
A world in which people are not measured by their passports or the color of their skin, but by their innately human qualities. A world in which the world's curious minds and courageous hearts move effortlessly across borders. A world in which global justice reigns free.
At Imagine, we build toward a Europe that welcomes the world with open arms. A Europe that rediscovers its place as a global beacon of freedom, hope, and opportunity.
