About the volunteering opportunity
Mentoring at JOBLINGE is an honorary position especially for experienced professionals. As a mentor, you accompany young people aged 17-25 on their path to an apprenticeship. During the 6-month JOBLINGE program, you will be part of the young people's journey and provide individual support for their needs.
The program can be carried out in Stuttgart, Pforzheim or Reutlingen and is not online mentoring.

Your Tasks
- Supporting young people in the JOBLINGE program
- Encouraging motivation and ambition
- Career guidance and preparation for job interviews
- Acting as a role model and revealing new paths
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
Basic understanding of training professions and dealing with young people in the discovery phase. Patience and an open ear are an advantage!
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 2 hours per week.
The aim is for you to meet with your mentee once a week for 1-2 hours. How often and for how long is entirely up to you.
Important notice
We work with a young target group and the majority have not grown up in Germany. We are looking for tolerant and open-minded people who would like to work with young people.
