About the volunteering opportunity

Do you love bringing people together through creative events? Are you well-connected in Berlin’s cultural scene and excited to build something from the ground up? Join For Everyone as a Volunteer Event Manager and help us develop a new series of low-barrier community events at the No52 Pavillon at Boxhagener Platz.
This is your chance to design, promote, and host your own creative event formats – such as sofa concerts, open mic nights, film screenings, creative workshops, storytelling evenings, or interactive jam sessions. The goal is to create a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere where people feel connected and inspired.
While you will be fully responsible for the execution of your event on the day itself (including set-up, hosting, and clean-up), you’ll receive strong support from our Event Management Lead, especially during your first weeks. You won’t be alone—but we’re looking for someone proactive, who’s excited to take ownership, make things happen, and doesn’t just wait for tasks to be assigned.
You’ll be expected to organize and lead at least one event every two weeks.

Your Tasks

As a Volunteer Event Manager, you will:

  • Develop the event concept: Conduct a needs assessment to determine what kind of creative events best suit the location and the community.
  • Plan the event: Organize the schedule, assign roles, and prepare all necessary materials to ensure the event runs smoothly.
  • Coordinate promotion: Work closely with our marketing and design team to prepare the flyer and event description. You’ll be responsible for promoting the event within your network and helping us raise awareness about it.
  • Host the event on-site: You’ll oversee the entire event—from welcoming guests and guiding them through the program to cleaning up and following up afterward.
  • Form or invite a team: You can ask friends or other volunteers to support you on the day of the event, but you’ll take the lead and bear the responsibility.
  • Join our weekly team meeting: Every week, we hold a meeting for all event volunteers where they can share ideas, coordinate, and support one another. You’re never alone in this process.
All our events are billed using a solidarity-based pricing model: Participants pay a small fee that helps cover costs and sustain our organization’s work. Those with limited financial means can choose a reduced-price ticket, while others can opt for a supporter ticket. Experience has shown that this system strengthens engagement and accessibility without compromising quality.

For Everyone (Wellbeing for Everyone gUG)

Welcome to For Everyone

For Everyone
is a Berlin-based non-profit that creates safe, creative, and welcoming spaces where people from all walks of life — especially internationals and newcomers — can connect and feel at home.

Through art, music, and movement, we foster real human connection, belonging, and emotional wellbeing. Our community café, No. 52 at Boxhagener Platz, hosts weekly workshops and small events for adults (mostly 18–40+). Each session blends creativity with care: it’s not about performance, but about what happens between people while they’re creating together.

Our wider vision is a diverse and resilient Berlin — a city where everyone feels at home and can take part in community life. To make that possible, we’re building the social infrastructure for belonging: connecting spaces, people, and volunteers across the city.

We believe in joy, inclusion, and authenticity — and thanks to our solidarity-based ticketing system, everyone can join, no matter their financial background.

If you care about making others feel welcome, believe in the power of creativity, and want to help people feel a little more at home in Berlin — you’re in the right place. 💛
