About the volunteering opportunity
Do you love bringing people together through creative events? Are you well-connected in Berlin’s cultural scene and excited to build something from the ground up? Join For Everyone as a Volunteer Event Manager and help us develop a new series of low-barrier community events at the No52 Pavillon at Boxhagener Platz.
This is your chance to design, promote, and host your own creative event formats – such as sofa concerts, open mic nights, film screenings, creative workshops, storytelling evenings, or interactive jam sessions. The goal is to create a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere where people feel connected and inspired.
While you will be fully responsible for the execution of your event on the day itself (including set-up, hosting, and clean-up), you’ll receive strong support from our Event Management Lead, especially during your first weeks. You won’t be alone—but we’re looking for someone proactive, who’s excited to take ownership, make things happen, and doesn’t just wait for tasks to be assigned.
You’ll be expected to organize and lead at least one event every two weeks.

As a Volunteer Event Manager you will:
As a Volunteer Event Manager you will:
- Develop the Event Concept: Conduct a needs assessment to understand what kind of creative events best suit the location and community.
- Plan the Event: Organize the timeline, define roles, and prepare all needed materials for a smooth experience.
- Coordinate Promotion: Work closely with our marketing and design team to prepare the flyer and event description. You’ll be responsible for sharing the event through your network and helping us spread the word.
- Host the Event On Site: You’ll lead the full execution – from welcoming guests and guiding them through the event, to clean-up and wrap-up.
- Build or Invite a Team: You can ask friends or other volunteers to support on the day, but you’ll take the main lead and responsibility.
- Join Our Weekly Team Exchange: Every week, we host a meeting for all event volunteers to brainstorm, align, and support each other. You’re never alone in the process.
All our events are ticketed using a solidarity-based pricing model: participants pay a small fee, which helps cover costs and secure our organization’s work. Those with fewer financial means can choose a reduced ticket, while others can opt for a supporter ticket. Based on experience, this system strengthens commitment and accessibility without compromising quality.

Welcome to For Everyone
For Everyone is a Berlin-based non-profit that creates safe, creative, and welcoming spaces where people from all walks of life — especially internationals and newcomers — can connect and feel at home.
For Everyone is a Berlin-based non-profit that creates safe, creative, and welcoming spaces where people from all walks of life — especially internationals and newcomers — can connect and feel at home.
Through art, music, and movement, we foster real human connection, belonging, and emotional wellbeing. Our community café, No. 52 at Boxhagener Platz, hosts weekly workshops and small events for adults (mostly 18–40+). Each session blends creativity with care: it’s not about performance, but about what happens between people while they’re creating together.
Our wider vision is a diverse and resilient Berlin — a city where everyone feels at home and can take part in community life. To make that possible, we’re building the social infrastructure for belonging: connecting spaces, people, and volunteers across the city.
We believe in joy, inclusion, and authenticity — and thanks to our solidarity-based ticketing system, everyone can join, no matter their financial background.
If you care about making others feel welcome, believe in the power of creativity, and want to help people feel a little more at home in Berlin — you’re in the right place. 💛
