About the volunteering opportunity

We are open to a wide range of support offers. Please feel free to present us with your ideas.
Offers could be, for example, the following:

- Art workshops (e.g. painting with different materials, clay work, collages)
- Music to join in (e.g. simple rhythm instruments, singing together, sound stories)
- Dance & movement (adapted to the pupils' abilities, e.g. seated dance, free movement activities)
- Relaxation activities (e.g. fantasy journeys, singing bowls, massage stories)
- Discovering nature - observing animals, crafting with natural materials, small excursions or "nature on site" activities
- Mini theater or role-playing games with simple scenes
- Picture book cinema or reading aloud activities with supporting facial expressions, sounds, symbol cards
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- Extended police clearance certificate
- Enjoy working with students with mental and physical disabilities

After your initial contact, we can work together to:
- discuss the project
- define the target group (our student body is very heterogeneous - age-related alone: grades 1 to 12, plus different restrictions and needs as well as numerous locations)
- determine a realistic time frame
- consider what material is needed, what is already available and what might need to be purchased
