Car seeks driver for food rescue

The association makes it possible for a free hot meal to be served to people in need on Sundays and for food to be distributed. Volunteers organize the food on Fridays and collect the donations from individual food retailers in our vehicles on Saturdays. From Sunday morning onwards, vegetables are chopped and cooked so that people of all ages can receive their hot meal promptly from 12 noon without having to provide proof of need.

The NACHBARSCHAFTSZENTRUM Suppenküche Lichtenrade e.V. is looking for drivers with or without their own car and co-drivers to pick up the food donations from sponsors, pre-sorting on site, loading and unloading the car, preparing and filling out pick-up slips.

Class B driver's license, physical resilience, ability to work in a team, enjoy working with food, reliability and conscientiousness, individual training
