Lebenshilfe BAB gGmbH is a social organization that supports people with disabilities of all ages throughout Berlin on their individual path to an independent and self-determined life. 
We offer Individual case support - Socio-educational family support - Integration support for young adults - Socio-educational group work - (low-threshold) family support through the Helfer:innenkreis (offer of support in everyday life).

Leisure ideas can be: going to the playground, going on excursions, accompanying them to therapy, playing together, doing handicrafts, reading aloud, etc. You gain a lot of great experiences. The children spend quality time with you and at the same time you support the parents, who can attend their own appointments or look after siblings, for example. Families with a child with disabilities are burdened by many challenges, e.g. caring for the child, lots of bureaucracy or additional appointments (doctor's appointments or therapies). This takes up a lot of time and, above all, energy. This is how you create important freedom!

Some experience in contact with children and young people with disabilities is desirable.
