About the volunteering opportunity

We connect volunteers with people with visual impairments for small, everyday support assignments. The help ranges from one-off assignments such as reading aloud or sorting documents to regular support in everyday life or joint leisure activities such as tandem cycling.

The aim is to enable interaction at eye level and promote the quality of life of visually impaired people.

Your Tasks

  • Everyday support: e.g. reading aloud, help sorting documents, accompanying to appointments
  • Leisure activities: e.g. riding a tandem bike together, accompanying someone to the swimming pool
  • Household-related support: e.g. shopping assistance, assembling furniture
