Become part of our Struwwi team: crafting, reading aloud and fun at events!

There is always something going on at the Struwwelpeter e.V. parent-child association in Schöneck: romping days, creative activities, reading aloud moments and board game afternoons alternate - a new highlight every week. So that our Struwwi kids (usually aged between 3 and 6) can enjoy these special hours even more, we are looking for people with a heart to support us on site. The parents are always there - so there's also plenty of time to chat.

You are right in the middle of it all:

💡 implement simple craft ideas or mini-experiments with a small group (we will be happy to provide you with materials & ideas),

📚 read aloud or enjoy a little playtime with the children at the playground,

🤸‍♀️ keep an eye on the group on romp day or

🎲 play along on board game day - or simply be there so that everyone feels comfortable.

Every session is relaxed, uncomplicated and planned with a lot of heart - and you can choose how often you want to be there.

✨ On-site support at our regular Struwwi events (alternating between creative day, reading aloud day, romping day, board game day)

✨ Accompanying small groups of children (approx. 3-6 years) - friendly, attentive and with heart; parents are always present and have a duty of supervision - so you are never alone!

✨ Implement simple craft ideas or mini-experiments (we are happy to provide you with materials and ideas)

✨ Read aloud if necessary or supervise a small round outside on the playground in good weather

✨ Play along on a romp day or board game day or simply supervise so that everyone is safe and happy

✨ Participate flexibly: as often as you can and like - no obligation, but a valuable contribution to our Struwwi family 💛

We currently meet every Tuesday and approximately every two weeks on Wednesdays. Tuesdays are the regular day (when the weekly themes of romping around, creativity, reading aloud, board games are repeated). On Wednesdays we have special events such as cooking together, Easter crafts, color mud, water day, gardening, etc.). At the weekends, we sometimes have special events such as the Schenckenberg Museum, pizza baking for 1 afternoon, Lochmühle etc.

Of course, all admissions are paid for you (e.g. if you help out in the Lochmühle), food and drink at events directly at Struwwi (e.g. summer party) are free of charge for you and if you stay longer, you will receive a confirmation for the volunteer card, which gives you many discounts.
