Berlin rally - exciting discovery tour with pupils through Berlin (ID: 330350)

The work of the Bürgerstiftung Berlin is supported by the commitment of civil society and the expertise of our more than 500 volunteers. Whether environmental education and language promotion, science, crafts, integration or culture: our projects bring people together and enable social participation - target group-oriented, pragmatic and unbureaucratic.

The Berlin Rally is a playful learning project that helps pupils to move around the city safely and independently using public transport.
The aim is to prepare them for the transition to secondary school and to strengthen their mobility skills.

As a volunteer, you will visit the school class in teams and teach the theory with fun and games on the first day. On the second day, the theoretical knowledge is put into practice in a rally:

In teams, the children solve the tasks independently by traveling to the individual destinations by public transport. The pupils go on a discovery tour and at the same time experience public transport as a positive means of transportation and a practical alternative to the car.
