Our family center in Fennpfuhl is a meeting place for all families. Whether big or small, patchwork, rainbow or single parents, long-time residents of Berlin or new arrivals: Here you can get in touch with others, relax, laugh and be creative. You can learn new things or teach others. We have a varied monthly program with recurring offers. We also welcome your own wishes and suggestions at any time. Please feel free to drop by!

We, the AWO Family Center am Fennpfuhl (Lichtenberg), are looking for committed volunteers to support us in the implementation and organization of our family café (Tuesday + Thursday, 4:00 to 6:00 pm). The family café is a leisure activity for parents and children from the neighborhood and is very popular. Families come together here to chat, play and exercise. They can take advantage of a small catering offer (waffles, drinks, snacks) for a donation.

In the summer months, the family center's garden is also open for families to join in. Possible tasks in the family café are: helping with preparations (kitchen & set-up), assisting at the counter (serving food and drinks/sales), dismantling, interacting with the families. You should be able to communicate confidently in German and lend a hand when needed. Become part of our team and help shape the family center! We look forward to meeting you.
