Even brief assistance, such as explaining information or pointing people in the right direction, can be helpful at such times and at the same time ensure pleasant encounters that break down barriers.

What are 5-minute engagements?
With our 5-minute commitments, we want to inspire you to easily integrate commitment into your everyday life. They are independent of charitable organizations and allow you to make an individual commitment to people and nature in your neighbourhood.
Your Tasks
Spontaneously offer your support if you notice that someone is having difficulties, for example understanding an announcement, deciphering a notice or operating a machine. Even a brief hint, a simple explanation or a friendly smile can make all the difference.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Openness, patience and friendliness. It is helpful to convey information as simply and clearly as possible or, if necessary, with gestures.
