About the volunteering opportunity
Dogs of Ella e. V. is a non-profit organization that runs an animal shelter for injured, abandoned and sick street dogs in Sri Lanka. In order to be able to help more animals in the long term, we are dependent on funding, CSR cooperation and sponsorships.
We are therefore looking for dedicated support in the area of fundraising communication - especially in making contact with potential CSR partners, small companies or sponsors who are interested in animal welfare, sustainability or social commitment.
Your Tasks
Your tasks are
- Researching suitable companies / CSR contacts in Germany
- Thinking along with the approach or "outreach" strategy
- Helping to formulate contact emails based on existing templates
- Organization and maintenance of a contact overview
- Support in staying in contact with the companies contacted
What you should bring with you:
- A flair for appreciative communication
- Independent, structured way of working
- Interest in sustainable commitment and animal welfare
- Reliability - even for small tasks

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.

The time schedule is flexible and can be set by arrangement.
The ideal commitment would be approx. 2-5 hours per week over a period of at least 2 months, so that a certain commitment is created and the collaboration can be effective.
The work can be done completely remotely - via e-mail or video calls.

Important notice
As we are active in Sri Lanka, our communication may be slightly delayed. We would therefore like an open and independent collaboration in which questions can be collected and asked clearly.

In Sri Lanka, we run a small, donation-financed animal shelter for rescued street dogs, which we coordinate and finance together via our German association Dogs of Ella e. V.
The project is managed by the same team - across national borders.
