About the volunteering opportunity
Our Vacation & Leisure department is looking for volunteer assistants to accompany vacation trips, leisure groups and day trips for young people and adults with disabilities.
Specifically, you can support us with the following offers:

- Individual and group trips within Germany and abroad worldwide
- Day trips (e.g. to a museum, the zoo or the Christmas market)
- Regular leisure groups in Würzburg and Kitzingen (e.g. party groups, swimming groups, bowling groups)
- Educational offers (e.g. dance course, cooking course)
Your Tasks
Our aim is to enable our customers with disabilities to enjoy self-determined and individual vacation and leisure activities. Your task as an assistant is to provide our customers with care, housekeeping and leisure activities during the offers, depending on their individual needs.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
- Previous nursing or medical experience can be an advantage, but is not a must
- A driver's license (class B) can be an advantage, but is not a must

We accompany, advise, support and encourage people with disabilities and their relatives in the city and district of Würzburg in various phases and areas of life. We include the Christophorus School with a pre-school facility and curative day care center, the Büro für Leichte Sprache (Office for easy language) and the inclusive day care center Haus am Bach and the Ambulante Dienste (outpatient services) with the areas of assistance with living, family support services and vacation & leisure.
