About the volunteering opportunity
Support us in setting up and maintaining a Kiez-Box in collaboration with Foodsharing and the Verbraucherzentrale (consumer advice center). Your task is to collect food donations from the surrounding area and keep the fridge in the district center appealing for the neighborhood. Do something meaningful for the neighborhood and our environment!
Your Tasks
Your tasks:
- Pick up food donations for the Kiez-Box and the neighborhood.
- Help us to keep the fridge clean and well-stocked at all times.
- Promote awareness of sustainable consumption in the neighborhood.
- Help to reduce food waste.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
Requirements:
- Reliability and a sense of responsibility are a matter of course for you.
- An interest in sustainability and environmental protection is an advantage.
- You have a driver's license or enjoy riding a bicycle (a cargo bike or handcart can be provided for pick-up).
