About the volunteering opportunity
We are a neighborhood project of the Senate Department for Urban Development and are always looking for volunteers to support our work in the meeting cafés / language cafés. Your own ideas are of course always welcome!
Your Tasks
Support with practicing spoken and sometimes written German. Support in running the café, e.g. baking a cake or Simit together with the residents, playing games with the visitors, accompanying movie nights,...there are a lot of possibilities!

For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.

Our language café takes place from 4-5 pm. The aim here is to speak, read and write German. From 5-7 p.m. we run a normal café, where we sometimes bake or cook, play games, talk a lot and sometimes dance.

BENN Altglienicke
The BENN program is available in 23 Berlin neighborhoods throughout Berlin. BENN is carried out wherever there is shared accommodation for refugees.
The aim of BENN is for residents in the neighborhood to support each other and shape their district together.
