Volunteer - Support children with German tutoring! 🌟
We are looking for committed volunteers who enjoy helping children and young people of primary school age with their learning.
Many of our pupils need help learning German - reading, writing and understanding the language.

AWO Refugium Hohentwielsteig
AWO Refugium Hohentwielsteig is a shared accommodation for refugees.
It was operated by AWO Mitte in July 2020. It has a bed capacity for 340 people in mobile containers distributed over two parts of the building. The accommodation has a large outdoor area with lots of greenery, raised beds, sports field and playground.

The intercultural AWO Mitte team of about 15 people works in the departments of administration, housekeeping, home crafts, social work, social/home support, psychological counseling, child/youth care and volunteer coordination.
