About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for a volunteer driver for our project "CARIsatt - Dein Platz im Kiez", a small integrated store where socially disadvantaged people and families affected by poverty can buy food and other everyday necessities at a reasonable price.
Your Tasks
The volunteer's tasks include collecting donations from various supermarkets, bakeries and retailers with a van/caddy (a class B driver's license is required), unloading goods and preparing them for sale.

For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.

How often someone would like to come can be arranged individually. Once or twice a week is also possible. The working hours are from 8:00 to approx. 11:30.

The youngcaritas Berlin belongs to the Caritasverband für das Erzbistum Berlin e.V. and promotes young people's commitment. Our goal is to introduce young people to politically and socially "explosive" topics and to teach them a more attentive and conscious use of environmental resources, both through theoretical input and through practical implementation. The goal of youngcaritas Berlin is to win as many young people as possible for voluntary work, be it for the youngcaritas projects "Kulturbuddys", *vergissmeinnicht* or through counselling and placement in various institutions and projects.
