About the volunteering opportunity
The NachbarBude is a place where neighbors can have a coffee and a chat. We offer help in the form of low-threshold support, referrals to other contact points and neighborhood assistance that anyone can take advantage of.
Many of the committed people are currently taking German language courses and are happy to have the opportunity to speak German and get tips. We would like to offer this community a space where they can receive volunteer help with their homework in order to get off to a successful start in their new life situation with friendly support.

Your Tasks
You should enjoy being together with new people and help them learn.
You have the opportunity and the task - also together with us - to design the format according to your ideas and offer it on a weekly/fortnightly basis in our volunteer room.

We are looking for at least two people who would like to organize the weekly offer.
What's needed
Volunteers must be native German speakers.
It would be good if you can explain grammar and if you can imagine taking on a hosting role (leading) for the homework help. It is important to us that you are friendly and patient with the students.

The time frame can be arranged individually.
In our idea, the course takes place at least once a week for 1.5 hours and can also include some time for conversation/play at the end. Ideally, there should be several people providing tutoring at the same time or alternately.
