About the volunteering opportunity
The NachbarBude is a place where the neighborhood can meet for a coffee and a chat. We offer help in the form of low-threshold support, referral work and neighborhood assistance that anyone can take advantage of.
Volunteers get involved in neighborhood help and thus form a society that supports each other, is open to each other and in which close relationships can grow.
Many of our committed volunteers and their children are motivated to improve their language skills and look forward to opportunities to learn and speak German. We are looking for you to help here.

Your Tasks
Support your learning:
- Become a tandem partner for adults/children or
- Organize play afternoons and learning happens on the side
Joint meetings can take place in our volunteer salon or at the Bude.
Time arrangements for scheduling and room use are made with individuals and with us.
We are flexible and happy to discuss and implement possible formats with you!

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
A prerequisite is the willingness
- to obtain an extended certificate of good conduct (free of charge) and
- to participate in a prevention training course
For group activities, such as games evenings, you will take on a hosting and guiding role.
It is important to us that you treat learners in a friendly and patient manner.
