About the volunteering opportunity
We are a Cologne-based association that promotes interaction with refugees by offering a wide range of sports activities. We work very closely with the German Red Cross and the Sports University, offering soccer, gymnastics, yoga, swimming and climbing - there is something for every age and gender.
Annual events have also been part of our program since our foundation, including our summer event, the Grenzenlos Cup and a cinema night in winter. We are supported by a wide variety of people. Whether you're studying for a bachelor's degree in sport, a master's degree in business administration, have already started your career or have just arrived in Germany - everyone is welcome here! What we all have in common is our enthusiasm for sport.

Your Tasks
We are looking for your voluntary support for our sports projects and events for people with refugee background as well as in club planning and organization.
This can be as an active club member, with a commitment to individual action days, events or excursions, as well as support in the areas of membership administration and finances.
Just let us know what you are interested in and we will find a suitable activity for you!

The Office for Civic Commitment of the AWO Cologne is a consulting service. People who are willing to volunteer will receive advice and will be placed in organisations that work with volunteers. Further priority will be given to LESEMENTOR Cologne, young volunteers, further education and voluntary refugee work.
