We are looking for fundraisers or corporate social responsibility experts to support our organization

The year is coming to an end and as every year around this time, many organizations and non-profits are busy fundraising and gaining support to plan their projects for the coming year. For this reason, our Berlin-based organization is currently looking for motivated and dedicated fundraisers or CSR specialists who can join our organization as volunteers over the next few months and support us in our end-of-year activities.
With the support of volunteers, we would like to explore new ways and methods of raising donations and funds for our organization. We plan to work with various groups such as corporations, foundations, schools and individuals to introduce them to our projects and motivate them to donate to one or more causes.
Our organization needs some experts in fundraising, marketing or corporate social responsibility to help us with new ideas, campaigns and activities that can be implemented by the end of the year to gain support.

Your tasks

What tasks await you?

Research: We already have a list of some donors, but we would be happy if you could expand this list with new insights and potential donors you may discover.

Project conception: As we are already working on some concrete projects, you will support the team in developing and updating new concepts for the projects to be implemented next year. Thanks to your experience, the team will be able to develop a more professional concept that meets the donors' requirements.

Communication: Given your expertise in this area, we would greatly appreciate it if you could make initial contacts with potential donors, companies and foundations.

Writing: Volunteers will meet with the team from time to time to review and discuss final written materials such as concepts, proposals or emails.

Teamwork: You will help with advice and in structuring the foundation's fundraising team. Your experience and advice will be a great boost to our team. We would be delighted if you could occasionally meet with the team in our office to work together.

Network: Talk to colleagues, friends and family members about our project and our work to gain support and ideas. Some of these groups may have better ideas on how we can fundraise or find ways to support us. Invite other professionals like you.

Sense of responsibility: Willingness to take initiative and responsibility for proposed tasks. You meet deadlines and are always open to discussing progress.

Enjoy convincing others and winning them over: We need a positive-minded volunteer who is committed to attracting new supporters and funding. We value someone who is persuasive and willing to achieve the goals.

Language: We would value someone who has more language skills than just German. A good knowledge of English or even French is an advantage for this position. Language includes not only writing, but also speaking and exchanging ideas.

Organizational skills: A volunteer who is well organised is valued. You should be able to organize and plan your work schedule.

We need volunteers who can work with us and are flexible in terms of time so that we can achieve our goals and objectives for the project. At the beginning, we will meet with the volunteers to discuss and plan how we can achieve certain tasks, goals and deadlines.
