Workshops at secondary schools on sexual, romantic and gender diversity

SCHLAU Düsseldorf is an educational and anti-discrimination project. We run workshops on sexual, romantic and gender diversity at secondary schools. The aim of the workshops is for young people to meet queer people and break down prejudices.

Giving workshops for young people from the 7th grade (min. in pairs)
You are LGBTIAQ+, between 16 and 30 years old and would like to tell young people about your personal experiences and answer their questions.

Ability to work in a team, reliability, not afraid to talk about personal experiences in front of up to 30 people

The workshops usually take place in the mornings. You are free to choose how many workshops you would like to take part in. Our team meetings take place every three weeks in the afternoon/evening.

There is a protection concept and quality standards that we adhere to. We work intersectionally and are particularly happy to welcome people with an intersectional perspective, i.e. queer and BIPoC, queer and disabled, as well as queer women and tin* (trans*, inter*, non-binary) people.
Our team currently only consists of white people and we deal with perspectives that are critical of and sensitive to racism.
We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind within our team.
