About the volunteering opportunity
Project: No one is left alone - breathing work in Bosnia and Herzegovina
No one is left alone is a humanitarian breathing project in Bosnia and Herzegovina that empowers people in challenging life situations through simple, effective breathing techniques. We work with war survivors, children and adults with special needs, as well as their families, caregivers, teachers, therapists and medical professionals.
Our vision is to help people achieve greater inner stability, self-efficacy and emotional resilience in the long term - and thus contribute to integration and peace.

Training local breathing coaches in basic and advanced techniques

Workshops in schools, rehabilitation centers, women's organizations and communities

Collaboration with institutions, including ministries, NGOs and universities

Methods that are easy to teach and can be used independently in everyday life
Participants report less stress, emotional relief, better concentration, some people have even been able to stop taking sleeping pills.
Your Tasks
To ensure that our project can continue to grow, we are looking for people who don't necessarily want to be in front of the group - but who can make great things happen in the background.
What we need support with

- Structuring of data
- Overviews, protocols, documentation
🔹 Social media & public relations work
- Creating content (posts, reels, stories, texts)
- Informing people about the work on site
- Developing social media strategies
- Making our vision visible
- Building networks
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- Reliability and independent working style
- Committed and respectful communication
- A big heart and a desire to learn something new
- You have a heart for people and humanity
- You enjoy creating structures or making things visible
- You work reliably and like clear agreements
- You communicate attentively, empathetically and respectfully
- You stand behind the vision of supporting people in their strength

For administration / organization
- Good organization and an eye for structure
- Enjoy communication (email, WhatsApp, teams, etc.)
For social media
- Experience with Instagram / Facebook / Reels (or motivation to learn it)
- Enjoy storytelling and content creation
- Ability to convey information clearly, sensitively and humanely
- Understanding of data protection & mindful representation of participants

The purpose of the association is to help people in need. We achieve this through
- Relief measures in areas of need (at home and abroad)
- Help and therapeutic measures to alleviate trauma and other influences that cause people suffering.
- Training courses that enable those affected to reconnect with social life.
- In addition, training for other national and international aid organizations so that they can increasingly implement their aid projects independently and sustainably
