About the volunteering opportunity
Balu und Du is a nationwide mentoring project in which you, as a volunteer aged between 18 and 30, spend time with a child every week for a year. You can do arts and crafts together, go to the playground, go to the library and much more. The children are from challenging life situations in which they do not receive the attention they deserve.
Your Tasks
As Balu, you take on the role of a great friend and you meet up weekly for 2-4 hours. Over the course of the year, a friendship can develop that is valuable for both of you. In addition, there is an exchange with other volunteer mentors and a "diary" in which you can reflect on the meetings.
What's needed
Volunteers must be native German speakers.

The sponsorship is for one year and takes place once a week.

Are you interested in becoming a mentor for children of primary school age? Become a "Balu" and accompany and support a child between the ages of six and ten for around two to four hours a week as a friend, advisor and supporter.
