About the volunteering opportunity
Many people are alone on Christmas Eve and feel lonely, regardless of their background, social status or financial means. We want to give them a wonderful Christmas Eve and we need you to do it! Experience a special Christmas Eve yourself by making a special evening possible for others.
Your Tasks
you could support ...
- during set-up (10 am - 12 noon) and dismantling (8 pm - 10 pm)
- as a friendly and welcoming face at the checkroom (15:30 - 21:00)
- at the table service (15:30 - 20:30)
- as a supervisor of seven people at the table (15:30 - 20:30)
- in the prayer team (15:30 - 20:30)
- in the hall decoration (10:00 - 13:00)
- with the music (14:00 - 20:30)
- childcare (15:30 - 20:30)
- with the nativity play (14:00 - 18:30).
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.

It would be important to us that you can be present at the team meeting on December 4 at 7.30 pm and at the staff kick-off on December 24 at 3.30 pm.
Important notice
The hall is prepared for the guests. There is a small lounge area for the staff with the same catering as the guests receive.
Christmas Eve is a Christian festival. It is organized by four Christian congregations of different denominations. All people are welcome as guests and volunteers, including those who do not identify as Christians but do not want to be alone on Christmas Eve.
