About the volunteering opportunity

New training course 2026
We are looking for volunteers to join the district parenting team:
Women and men with a history of migration from the districts of Wilstorf, Langenbek, Rönneburg and Sinstorf.
District parents help immigrant families with children in their everyday lives. They translate, accompany families to kindergartens, schools, doctors or authorities and provide information about services in the districts.
When: March 24 - May 7, 2026
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

What: The district parents receive free training in preparation for their work.
The training provides information on the topics of education, health and upbringing. You get to know offers for families with children from the districts.
After completing the training, the district parents receive an expense allowance for their support.
