Women's café for Ukrainian refugees

A women's café is to be set up in a shelter for refugees from Ukraine, where the women will meet at least once a week to exchange ideas and ask the female volunteer supporter (you) questions about Munich and Germany. We will find out exactly what the women need thematically. You will be supported by a social worker the first few times so that the women present can build up trust in you. In summer, you can also have a picnic in the nearby Westpark.

You come to the accommodation in Gerty Spies Straße once a week and provide coffee and water (which is available in the canteen) and cookies, which we provide. In a cozy atmosphere, you are there for the women for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, listening to them, guiding the exchange, discussing their questions with them or playing games with them.

You should speak Ukrainian or Russian well, have patience, be tolerant, interculturally competent, be able to listen and enjoy being with people.

At least 1 1/2 hours a week.

The accommodation consists of lightweight halls, and a large, airy, bright container is available for the women's café.
