The AWO Kreisverband Berlin-Mitte has been running the AWO Refugium Lichtenberg reception center since 2012. 370 people live here, a good half of whom are children.

Your Tasks
With our "Arrive safely" project at AWO Berlin-Mitte, we want to offer children of refugee families a warm welcome to Berlin. This includes simply getting out, having fun and experiencing new things. Whether it's sports training, a theater course or other leisure activities - you accompany children aged 7 to 14 and make shared experiences possible. We are particularly happy to receive support at the AWO Refugien Lichtenberg and Hausvaterweg. Your commitment gives the children variety and joy - and you many wonderful encounters.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
