A volunteering opportunity from the DRK initial reception center Wotanstraße
Around 100 people with refugee experience live in our accommodation. As a rule, people only stay for a few weeks or months before being transferred to more long-term accommodation.

Your Tasks
Our initial reception center for refugees is home to many wonderful people whose average age is somewhat higher than usual - experience is worth its weight in gold here! We are particularly happy to welcome volunteers who are willing to assist people with physical disabilities. They often need support to cope with life's little and big adventures.
Whether you want to volunteer for a short period of time or drop in on a regular basis, you'll find the flexibility you need with us! Together, we can explore places, organize play afternoons or take part in sports such as sitting yoga. It will be colorful, fun and above all enriching - for you and for the people you accompany.
