About the volunteering opportunity
With our plaster truck, we offer first aid directly on the street and are the first point of contact for medical questions.
Our mobile treatment room is equipped with materials for (wound) care and diagnostics.
There are always at least two Johanniter volunteers with medical knowledge on the van.

There are always at least two Johanniter volunteers with medical knowledge on the van.
- With their help, we achieve: acute medical assistance directly on site, prevention of serious secondary illnesses, fewer emergency interventions and more humanity in our city.
- If necessary, we offer suitable training courses, for example on the subject of wound care.
- Ideally, you already have training in emergency services, nursing or medicine.
- Possession of a class B driving license would be an advantage (ideally you already have driving experience with larger vehicles).
Your Tasks
- You provide low-threshold, empathetic and professional care to people in need directly on the street in Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel district.
- You will work in a team with volunteer medical professionals in a well-equipped emergency vehicle (plaster truck).
- You are a team player, empathetic, have strong communication skills and meet people in vulnerable situations at eye level
- You are resilient and can keep a cool head even in challenging situations
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
