About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for a volunteer manager for our language café who enjoys facilitating encounters and exchanges.
At the language café, people meet in a relaxed atmosphere to practise and improve their German language skills, talk to each other and make new contacts. Participants also receive information about everyday life in Germany and local offers.
Your Tasks
we are looking for you - an open and committed person who would like to run our language café. In a relaxed atmosphere, people from different cultures can use and improve their German language skills, exchange ideas and make new contacts.
You will lead and supervise the group during the language café (approx. 1.5 hours per week)

You create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere
You support the participants with language and everyday life training, e.g. information about life in Germany and local offers
You promote exchange among the participants and help to establish contacts
You will be involved in the preparation and organization of the meetings
You have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and offers
What's needed
Volunteers must be native German speakers.
You enjoy working with people from different cultures
Patience, openness and strong communication skills are a matter of course for you
You have a very good command of written and spoken German
You have a good feeling for people and empathy
Ideally, you have experience in group leadership or volunteer work
