About the volunteering opportunity

For the AWO's FALK Club, we are looking for committed volunteers who would like to help people with support needs to use digital media. The aim of the offer is to strengthen digital participation and provide more confidence in using smartphones, tablets and the internet.

Above all, patience, friendliness and the ability to explain content clearly and in simple language are important so that participants can gradually gain more independence in using digital media.

Your Tasks

The volunteers support participants individually in 1:1 contact or in small groups. For example, they help them get to know and operate devices, use apps and social media and find accessible and free digital services.

They also impart basic knowledge on topics relating to the digital world, such as data protection, safe use of the internet and respectful online behavior. The service is aimed at people with cognitive and/or physical disabilities who would like support in their everyday digital lives.

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Patience, digital know-how
