About the volunteering opportunity
The AWO Kreisverband Berlin-Mitte e.V. runs five meeting places for senior citizens and all other people from the neighborhood in the districts of Mitte and Pankow.
We would like to regularly inform our visitors and volunteers about current courses, events and opportunities to join in with a newsletter. However, the full-time coordinators in the facilities do not have time for this. We would be very happy to have volunteer support to implement a newsletter for our meeting places with and for us.
Your Tasks
As a volunteer newsletter editor, you will compile current offers from the facilities with our support and report on special events depending on your interests and availability. Whether monthly or quarterly, by e-mail or with the help of a newsletter tool - you can decide all of this in consultation with the head of the meeting places.
The commitment can be carried out on the premises of AWO Mitte or from home.
What's needed
Volunteers must be native German speakers.
You should enjoy and have a talent for writing easy-to-read texts and be interested in the work of meeting places. Previous knowledge of using a newsletter tool can be helpful.
Time required
