About the volunteering opportunity
Our group sees itself as an association of committed social shapers. Together, we are going one step further: from a culture of welcome to a culture of arrival. As a tandem partner, you are part of our mission to shape a diverse Germany, a country where everyone is able to participate in society. Our vision is to make true togetherness a reality in society.
Your Tasks
One possible task as a tandem partner would be to support a newly arrived person in Germany. We do not see ourselves as a traditional aid organization; the friendly aspect is the main focus!
We meet each person personally and then consider who might get on well together based on hobbies, interests, etc. Every tandem is different, so it's up to you what exactly you do. Our tandem partnerships are designed to last 6 months and we would like you to spend about 2 hours a week with each other.
