The training mentoring project "Relay runners - from trainee to high-flyer - with mentoring" supports young people in vocational training with 1:1 support.
Mentors with professional experience accompany trainees and provide them with advice and support.
Through this individual support, "Relay runners - from trainee to high-flyer - with mentoring" supports personal and professional development - with noticeably positive effects.
Mentoring helps to open up new perspectives, reflect on one's own point of view, expand knowledge about communication, learning strategies and conflict resolution and recognize professional development opportunities.

Relay runner - from apprentice to high-flyer - mentoring enables you as a mentor to pass on your own experience to the younger generation. You support a trainee on their way through training, even in everyday situations. Through your knowledge and experience, you strengthen the trainee's self-confidence and use the opportunity to give something back to society.

Your commitment counts. The regional association will give you the opportunity to take part in an entry-level qualification and further training qualifications free of charge. An extended certificate of good conduct is required, which we will also apply for free of charge.

The meetings between mentor and trainee can be arranged individually. A meeting once a week in person would be advisable, but online meetings are also possible.
