Our association
Our association, which now has over 1,000 members, was founded in 1843 and looks after several hundred animals every year - 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. They come to us through neutering campaigns, as found animals,
injured, abandoned, seized or surrendered into our care. We are there for them. That is our mission.

What do we do?
- We represent and promote the idea of animal welfare and raise awareness of animal welfare issues.
- We try to promote public understanding of the nature and welfare of animals by educating animal owners and the general public.
- We want to prevent animal abuse and cruelty.
- In the event of violations of the Animal Welfare Act, we initiate criminal prosecution.
- We carry out collections and fundraising campaigns, the proceeds of which are only used for the statutory purposes of animal welfare.
- Of course, our care is not limited to pets - we look after all animals in our environment.
