About the volunteering opportunity
querstadtein has been offering educational work from the perspective of those affected for over twelve years - from (formerly) homeless people and people with experience of flight and migration. Our educational actors open up new perspectives on the city, dispel prejudices and raise awareness of issues of social and global inequality. Participants include schools and educational institutions as well as non-profit organizations, companies and private individuals.
The "Digital dabei: Teilhabe für homeless people" project , funded by the German Postcode Lottery, aims to strengthen the digital participation of people who have experienced homelessness. They acquire basic digital skills and receive the appropriate technical equipment. Supported by volunteer "buddies", they learn to navigate the digital space independently. This creates participation, visibility and democratic cohesion.

Location
querstadtein e.V.
