About the volunteering opportunity
Our office in Fürstenfeldbruck and the women's shelter in Germering urgently need some space changes!
We would like to redesign and reorganize some rooms to make them an even more suitable place for the women* we look after and our staff.
Since such a project means a lot of work, we are looking for volunteers who would like to actively support us.
We are now starting with a few rooms in the women's shelter in Germering.
Your Tasks
We would appreciate any help with tidying up, dismantling old furniture, assembling new furniture, wiping out cupboards, hanging lamps, loading and transporting to the recycling center, basic cleaning after painting work and, when everything is done, setting up the rooms again. Bringing cakes is also great 😊.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
No professional skills required, manual dexterity is sufficient.
A transport vehicle is great for transportation to the recycling center.

Time required
Project-based
From 12 noon (30.5. from 9.30 a.m.), end no later than 6 p.m.
08.05. removal of junk to the recycling center (lots of small items, a few pieces of furniture TRANSPORTER / TRAILER REQUESTED!)
22.05. dismantling, clearing out, covering (preparation for painting work)
29.05. and 30.05. cleaning, assembling furniture, furnishing
