About the volunteering opportunity
EX-IN Rhein Main e.V. trains people with personal experience of mental health crises to become recovery counselors and strengthens recovery-oriented work in the psychosocial field.
We are currently preparing for AZAV certification in order to ensure that our training programs are financed and accessible in the long term. To do this, we need support in calculating the costs and financial structuring of our services.
Your Tasks
We are looking for a committed person with experience in cost accounting, controlling or financing in the education or social sector to support us on a voluntary basis with
- preparing and checking cost calculations for our educational programs
- structuring cost items (personnel, rooms, administration, etc.)
- preparation of calculation bases for AZAV certification
- assessment of the profitability of our offers
- if necessary, support in the development of sustainable financing structures
What you should bring with you
- experience in cost calculation, controlling, accounting or business administration
- ideally knowledge in the field of further education, educational institutions or social economy
- structured and solution-oriented work
- interest in social impact and inclusive educational work
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Ideally, those involved will have knowledge of cost calculation, controlling, accounting or business administration. Experience in the field of further education, educational institutions or the social economy is an advantage, especially with regard to the requirements of AZAV certification. A structured way of working, analytical thinking and the ability to present complex relationships in an understandable way are also important. An interest in social impact and in supporting a non-profit organization round off the profile.
Time required
Project-based
The time frame is flexible. Support can be provided from any location and the number of hours can be freely allocated, depending on capacity and availability. What is particularly important to us is reliable coordination on individual milestones within the project. We appreciate any form of support, whether selective or accompanying over a longer period of time.
Important notice
It is important to us to treat each other with respect and appreciation and to be open to the values of recovery and peer work that characterize our work. As this involves sensitive association and financial data, we expect information to be handled confidentially. We also welcome transparent communication and reliable coordination on agreed tasks and milestones. Previous specialist knowledge is helpful, but just as important is a willingness to familiarize yourself with our specific requirements
Location
This project is location independent.
